It took me a while to get some forward momentum. Originally started looking for Flicka plans. Stumbled upon plans for a Paradox; that proved to be beyond my skill-level at the time. Began an Ocean Explorer as a practice boat, but decided that was too much work for a PDR. Seriously considered building a Wa'apa. Figured I would probably get more winter use out of a Buffle-Head, since I have some kayaking under my belt; that build was way out of my league. Not to mention dozens of other beautiful boats that I've drooled over.

So here are the official plans I'm going with. At least for my first boat; in order, to get some practice.

I'm not quite sure what happened, but things seem to be following into place. Maybe it is one of those simple concepts like, 'a long journey begins with a single step.' Well that and child labor. Regardless, some progress has been made, hopelfully the occassional post won't jinx things.

This is just sad. I've been attempting to build a boat for over a year now, and the only thing I have managed to create is sawdust (a few buckets worth actually).

Changed plans more than I care to mention. Haven't thrown the towel in yet.
